- Heboric and Baudin are planning to escape and leave Felisin, but will take her (or she’ll follow) at the final moment. They aren’t telling her because they don’t trust her.
- There is a cave in the lake.
- Heboric will die during this book.

- The Spirit Walkers Song will be an element that arises in a future book.
- Fiddler is a mage.
- Trell will betray Icarium.
- Iskaral Pust put those books in this “library” on purpose. He is trying to draw something out of Icarium.
