Predictions:
- The “Claw” from the Empress is the one that killed (or facilitated killing) Calot, and Hairlock.
- Tayschren stood under Moons Spawn, because it put him furthest away from the assassin on the plains.
- WhiskeyJack and the Bridgeburners are going to turn to Cotillion to attempt to kill Tayschrenn.
- Paran is still alive.

One of the things I love about Kingkiller Chronicles is what I love in the Malazan Book of the Fallen: If something is mentioned / described, it’s not by accident. It matters, and will probably get explained later.
The difference is in KKC, it will be explained later in the book, or at the latest in the next book or two. In Malazan, you may have to wait for half a dozen books… Or more.
Call it a test of patience!
I’m new to the podcast. I saw in a Malazan forum that your podcast was a good companion piece for reading the series. I’m on my fourth read-through, but I really enjoy the extra deep dives you guys do into the material and the quotes. I’m definitely looking forward to hearing your replies to the epic scenes that pepper the series. I hope you two keep creating content for the whole series!
